I always thought sassy was kind of a compliment, like “she is smart and sassy.” Sassy is the person with always a quick and clever retort.

The word usually tied to her is gaffe. Tirade probably is said. She throws tantrums when she is called out on her nonsense and she reacts like a child. It isn't going out of anyone's way to to smear her for calling it as it appears. She simply acts like a spoiled child.
