But let me say this LOUDLY.
If you have a political candidate that you DO NOT have concerns about then you are BLIND.
Every single candidate, all of them, 100%, have said or done something problematic. If you say otherwise you’re lying.
One thing I ask of my most progressive friends. You are my tribe. My family. All I ask is that you sincerely evaluate each Democratic candidate. Create a rubric or a set of values and policies and ACTUAL political action that you are looking for. Push, but give them some time.
I'm going to repeat this again and add to it: candidates that want my support must: 1. Not take corporate money 2. Record of supporting progressive values 3. Ready to fight for more progressive legislation and policies 4. Be a truth teller

I don't understand "give them some time." You don't get time when you are running for office, that is what you have a record for. Your time was spent crafting that record. That should be the largest part of your evaluation since past performance usually indicates future results
The only people who won't be doing this are the people who make a hobby out of running around calling people "neoliberal corporate shills" and whatnot. Serious consideration isn't part of the hobby, which has little to do with real-world politics or policy.

Exactly. I am glad she is in the race. I want to see who else will announce, and the person who best aligns with what I would want in a President will get my vote.
I love this idea of creating a political rubric; as a teacher they are imperative to learning and growth. My hope for the upcoming year is that we all are more intellectually honest. I am going to use some of my decompression time to creating one for myself! Thank you!
