I have a few concerns with @ewarren.
But let me say this LOUDLY.
If you have a political candidate that you DO NOT have concerns about then you are BLIND.
Every single candidate, all of them, 100%, have said or done something problematic. If you say otherwise you’re lying.
One thing I ask of my most progressive friends. You are my tribe. My family. All I ask is that you sincerely evaluate each Democratic candidate. Create a rubric or a set of values and policies and ACTUAL political action that you are looking for. Push, but give them some time.
Biden is NOT a progressive. Hillary is NOT a progressive. MSNBC is NOT progressive. Pelosi is NOT a progressive. Your corporate Democrats are not progressives. They're just hijacking the name to appeal to you. Bernie Sanders is a progressive. AOC is a progressive.
As soon as AOC turns 35, she will 100% have my vote for President. Until then I would happily take anyone as progressive and competent as Hillary Clinton, although I would hate to vote for an old white man again (it will have been 12 years, you get used to having alternatives).
Platform > age, skin color, looks, gender
Of course, but platforms being roughly equivalent, then age, gender, ethnicity are tie breakers that need to break against the old white men for once.

True. Not one person came close to Bernie's policies in 2016. Now we have a fresh young crop of progressives being elected into office with his views. It'll be a while. So far he'd have my vote.
I'm a progressive but not a big Bernie fan. However, I will vote for whomever is the nominee. What I want to ask Bernie supporters, though, is how do you reconcile his positions with the negativity with which he's viewed by a lot of African Americans?
And please don't mistake this for me being snarky or whatever. It's a genuine question, and my hope is that he'll hire hire more campaign advisers who are POC. But whenever I see these threads on Twitter, I read about his high negatives among African Americans,so I'm just curious
I like Sen Warren. I will not smack talk any of the Dem candidates. I’ll vote in the primary for the one I like best. And I’ll vote for whomever wins the candidacy. Anyone who is against Trump should do the same. A 3rd party vote is a vote for Trump.

To be frank, nobody who can't beat Trump should be running. It's like they're running for fun and to spend campaign dollars...
No one who wants to be President should be permitted. It's the height of hubris to think one is up to the job. That's the conundrum.
I often have the same thought about prison guards and cops.
Cops in my city make as much as surgeons when you factor in overtime. Prison guards either had few options or have had something go badly wrong.
Only thing problematic about warren is that she would lose to Trump in the same awful gross way Hillary lost. Not looking forward to the chants and Indian War calls at Trump rallies tbh.
She is not nearly as vulnerable as Hillary. She has no Whitewater, no husband named Bill, no big time speaking engagements on Wall Street. She is tough and will hit back. She is personalable. She is a progressive. I think she's great. Is she the best candidate? I don't know yet.
Honestly, she’s more vulnerable in THIS climate. Not 2016, I think she would have won that election. But we are way too confused and angry, and Trump has a huge platform. Frankly, she hasn’t done anything in 17-18. I think Bernie 2020 is the right choice.
