The Trump administration is literally advising the 800,000 federal employees who aren't being paid right now on how to write letters to their landlords on why they can't pay their rent or mortgage this month. This is absolutely disgusting. Using people for political pawns.

I am a federal worker and I rather stay Shut down than to pay for a wall any day. Do something for vets teachers education programs that give not take away. Don't mind my taxes being spent for that

Again showing how they have ZERO IDEA what regular ppl go thru. The one shutdown I went through I was a ‘funded’ fellow, so was expected to work in a closed, dark museum, w/ no idea when I’d be paid, and I only made 28k in DC with no health insurance to begin with.

Thanks :) It was a rough year, and it’s taken even longer to move past it (financially and mentally). I’m fortunately doing better now, but knowing just what people are going through out there right now (& at the holidays!) infuriates me.

He said MEXICO was going to pay for the wall, "Believe me!" Now WE, most of whom DON'T WANT this damn wall, are being conned, into forking over tax money to pay for it. AND, millions that have already been allotted to the wall HAVE NOT been used.

The most insane part about that advice is “contact your personal attorney” like regular people have attorneys on retainer. Attorneys that need to be paid...with what?!? They can’t pay their bills! Insanity.
