If you examine his record, and it’s problematic, it’s going to draw criticism, which bad faith actors will call an “attack.” It’s not. I have yet to see Beto weather anything close to attacks levied against Sanders by the mainstream media for 3 years.
Honest question. Do you think I don't know the difference between a policy critique and an attack? Because I do. Some critiques have now devolved into something far uglier. I've seen and experienced them. People calling me a sellout just for saying Beto should run.

HRC was attacked, and more heavily than Bernie was. Doesn’t mean those articles weren’t attacks though.
Nothing in your original thread indicates that you differentiate between policy critique and "attack", or what constitutes an "attack" in your opinion. The widespread aggrievedness expressed by Beto supporters at pure policy critique might indicate you're ignoring something...
Wow. Sorry, but as a huge fan of your work, this is very disappointing to see. Talking down to her as if she accused you of ignorance when all she did was point out the fact that the "attacks" on Beto are nothing more than an extensive look into his voting record is unsettling.

Please discuss the distinction with @neeratanden because she doesn’t seem to understand it. In the process, she’s the one who created the entire Beto v. Bernie narrative in order to make Bernie a bad guy when he’s never even mentioned Beto or vice versa.

You're focusing on a tiny fraction of the criticisms and making them out to be representative of the larger group, which is patently false and does a disservice to the the need for said criticisms. (And yes, Beto should run so he splits the Biden/centrist vote, I agree)

People supporting Bernie are of course going to want as few people opposing him as possible. So you, as a supposed Bernie supporter, suggesting he should run is counter productive. Bernie supporters dont want ANY shill to run.
