@shaunking you might be amazed to learn that there are accounts by people living under repressive regimes who have no choice but to stay anonymous to speak their minds, unless they want to vanish into prison or entirely. -
Saying that those should never be RTd, out of principle, is doing exactly those regimes bidding.

There is no shortcut to media literacy and media competence. That you, as someone who's in the process of founding an independent media outlet, aren't fully aware of this very basic truth is highly surprising, to say the least, and disturbing on top of that.
