Love Bernie but he had no issue smearing Hilary in the primaries I’m sure he’ll have no issue smearing Beto. Last time he won my vote with this tactic and in my own opinion ultimately helped Trump get elected. I hope this time the message is ANY OF US IS BETTER THAN TRUMP! Lol

That exact message is the reason why Trump won. Dems need to offer an actual alternative to the Rep platform. If not, Dems will continue to lose. The fact that the CAP wing is even a thing shows how both parties are actually just ONE party. The US is a ONE party state. Ugh.

Dems flipped 40 seats in 2018, so I doubt that having a diverse set of democratic voices and ideas is going to lead us to "continue to lose"

It wasn’t even a Net Gain. If anything all it served to do was to put Pelosi back on as Speaker. She belongs to the CAP wing of the Dem party. She doesn’t offer a “resistance” to Trumps policies, instead she offers complicity, instead of full PRyan support. Same coin, diff sides.

Beto voted for a deregulatory bill with Republicans that makes it easier to discriminate against African Americans on car loans. He caved in on the omnibus bill without DACA before the rest of the party. These are important positions that should be called out respectfully.

I think many Bernie folks, myself included, harbor resentments against the Dem establishment, which used (and still uses!) power politics and propaganda against him, and won’t be swiftboated with this madeup “attack” propaganda on Beto, so are pushing back, hard. Understandable.

Come on, Shaun. There are power players who pay bots to go after Bernie and progressives & push narratives in the press and then turn around and whine about scrutinizing their choice candidates as being “mean” and “waging war.” You can’t really be falling for this.
