Uh, he has an unusual way of taking time off—have you seen him rallying for the closure of Tornillo and trying to bring together help for refugee families? It’s simply not true to imply that he’s “taking time off.” He also did a kick-ass town hall in his district.
He did 100 town halls in El Paso during his terms in Congress. The town hall you mention was his last. His term ends soon, and what he’s doing is in his role as a congressman.
