No one wants Jerry to get shot. We applaud the officers for not killing Jerry. We just want the same restraint that was shown to Jerry, shown to people of color in these situations

Actually, I'd be okay with them shooting Jerry. He assaulted the officers with a deadly weapon, and stole their car, which is another potentially deadly weapon.
