A referee wouldn't allow Andrew Johnson of Buena @brhschiefs to wrestle with a cover over his dreadlocks. It was either an impromptu haircut, or a forfeit. Johnson chose the haircut, then won by sudden victory in OT to help spark Buena to a win. pic.twitter.com/f6JidKNKoI

I never seen this happen in the middle of the match usually happens during weigh-Ins. They’ll check your skin/hair way before the match to make sure everything’s good, never during. I need answers.

This treatment of a person - an athlete, a young man - is disgusting. I’m so sad for him & so outraged. My pulse is racing, my chest is tight. How dare they do that! So blatently about dominance/power and (literally) cutting his identity out of him. They should be fired/fined.
