Bernie Sanders is a hero to me. And I've become friends w/ his family. But if he hires an all-white male, or nearly all white male Senior staff for his campaign, I will endorse & campaign for someone else. I am tracking the senior staffing hires of all presidential candidates.

This ain’t it. Kamala Harris & Beto O’Rourke should go head to head in the primary. The winner makes the other their VP. Party Unity. Every other name is a distraction or tool for division, especially Sanders.
-
Democracy is not a distraction
-
kamila harris has a terrible record on criminal justice and beto is not a progressive. they are awful.

No. We can’t have any more old white guys right now. I was there with Bernie in 2016. I’m not now. Woman. Person of color. Younger than 60. Pick two.
-
can you name one person that fits these parameters, has good name recognition and no connections to banks/walstreet/big pharma?
-
Beto O’Rourke. Kamala Harris. Elizabeth Warren.
-
Thanks for answering. Warren is excellent, but fails your 2 out of 3 rule. Harris took money from mnuchin's bank as a DA and chose against her offices wishes to not go after him for illegal forclosures. Beto voted with republicans to weaken banking regulations (dodd frank).
-
I know Elizabeth doesn’t fit my criteria. She is excellent. Can allow candidates to grow and evolve? Harris no longer takes corporate money. I’m assuming that Beto might vote differently today. Shall we cut Bernie some slack not always supporting gun violence research?
-
We’re talking about candidates that have a history of rejecting all corporate donations, not just PAC money, and candidates who LEAD on issues not follow Sanders’ direction. Warren, Harris, O’Rourke, and others have followed his lead only because of popularity & not sincerity.
-
Glad you have a crystal ball and can determine what is in everyone’s hearts. I’m old enough. I remember Bernie voting against funding CDC research into gun violence. Voting in favour of immunity for gun sellers. Any blood on his hands after those votes?
-
Any blood on the hands of Warren, O’Rourke, & Harris who all decided it was best to give Trump a 700b military budget, or how they all have taken money from the fuel industry? They all would be perfect in a Sanders administration, and have their own strengths, MANY weaknesses.

The guy who lost to the candidate who lost to Donald Trump is not the answer for beating Trump.
-
Funny enough that describes Beto.

Agreed. Only because I see the founding concept of progressivism as dedication to popular sovereignty, corruption free policy standards and the social/economic intersectional inclusivity of the popular demand for egalitarian legislative agendas. Bernie just happens to fit best.
-
And you can tell the establishment that principled adherence to filtering out candidates that don't meet the standard of upholding the popular sovereign demands of their constituents is DEMOCRACY itself. Anyone smearing us for applying that critique is a closet authoritarian.

Oh, has he finally released at least 20+ years of longform tax returns? Great, I'll start there. Then I'll want to see that Jane is cleared of any wrongdoing by the FBI.
-
She was already cleared. You're a few weeks late on that news.
-
Hi. I took your assertion at face value but I've googled around and don't find any stories about it. Can you please send a link?
-
Clarification: I see she was not “cleared” per se. only that case was dropped. Not the same but easy to spin.
-
Ok, you want semantics. I get it. There was nothing there to charge her with and if you were a VT local, as I am, you would know the whole thing was brought on by a GOP operative.
