It’s true that Mormons have been very lukewarm on Trump—I think because they have some sense of the difficulties of being a religious minority. But someone tonight was saying they have historically been friendly to immigrants. Is that true?

Absolutely. They travel all of the world on their missions and, for at least two years, are exposed to other cultures. They are often open to the people they meet immigrating.

Ha! Yes, well that Mormon faith also told him to trounce over Indigenous people’s land and rights in three states and not give a shit. Apparently he only has sympathy for indigenous people outside of the US.
