Not really brother, when the argument is, we need need new leadership and succession plan to make leadership reflective of our party.

Not understanding your response. Clarify if you don't mind.
-
His response is pretty clear. Bernie is not reflective of the party or the direction we want to go in. Why you’re so insistent on shoving Bernie down our throats is beyond me.

-
Because he, and he alone has proved time and time again he fights for middle class, minority, and poc policies along with being the only candidate/politician to exemplify a 40 year track record of doing such. Show me other viable candidates and I’ll listen.
-
The man never hired a black person till 2015 i have serious doubts about his concerns for poc.

Lets leave Nancy out of this. Right wing dems are already attacking her for her age nonstop.
-
What? I am not attacking her but doing the exact opposite.
-
I know *you* aren’t but the icky dudes will start to say “she’s older than Bernie” etc. All these age obsessed folks are so awful.
-
The same people that attacked opponents of Pelosi for being “ageist” are the ones telling Bernie he’s to old I think that’s what
@shaunking is trying to convey -
Ah see I think Nancy opponents are sexist, not ageist. I also think it's weird we can only consider super old white men and when some of us are like, oh hey we have some other ideas we're called ageist. Age isn't the biggest issue with these guys.
-
Most of the contenders or possibles ones to nancy from what I saw were people like Barbra lee who is similar age as well as female. I think we should consider all options but Bernie is the clear front runner. If he doesn’t run I’d vote tulsi or Beto in an instant

Ugh, you’re still on this.

-
I really admire the work he does shining light on police brutality and racial injustice in policing. But then I scratch my head - why didn’t he throw himself 200% behind the first candidate in history to use a national debate as a platform to discuss police bias?
-
Old white people not getting blind loyalty to an old white man who at best stands silently as his supporters trash civil rights icons; who dismisses civil rights as “identity politics” .. damn right they don’t get it. It makes no sense for a POC or woman to support Sanders.
-
Thank you for saying that. That has been my biggest issue with Bernie Sanders.

It's not just his age. He's not even a democrat and he's done precious little to help except to criticize. He takes advantage of the structure when it suits him, and tears it down when it doesn't. Hard no.
-
Just asking but doesn't he criticize both sides Republican and corporate democrats. Basically everyone who is on the right of him?
-
My issue isn't so much criticism (bc that's how we learn), but rather his penchant for using the dem structure to his advantage but never contributing to it in a positive way (just criticism). Like I said earlier, I liked Bernie but his behavior after the primary was terrible.
-
Agree, he capitulated far too much to Democrats
