I’m also not comfy with how he’d do under #MeToo
scrutiny. Anita Hill, for starters.

We need elected officials that intentionally and actively listen to and stand up for
#WeThePeople. Neither Clinton nor Biden strike me as fulfilling this need.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

Not to say that other potential Dem candidates don't have these qualities, but Biden has an integrity/decency tone that foils well against the current President.

Remember the 2016 election was the 1st w/out full protection of the Voting Rights Act since it was implemented n 1965-while HRC did not win, voter suppression resulting from Sec 5 being gutted&gerrymandering played a big role in her loss-Can ANY Democratic candidate overcome that

Good points. Glad Holder and Obama are actively pursuing.

Joe and Bernie are gonna have the same problem if they make it to the debate stage and that's that they'll be juxtaposed against younger, more vibrant candidates, with different ideas. The only way I see Biden running is if he has a gimmick like he's only gonna serve one term.

I like Joe a lot more than the average leftist mostly because I'm a sucker but the primary is also going to remind everyone that he's not very good at being a candidate

Joe seems like a nice guy, but, not for President. He is not what American needs.

If Joe Biden runs for president a 3rd time, he will lose either in the primaries or in the general election. Trump will beat him if he makes it past the primaries.

This time the "most qualified" candidate Biden will have competition from a wide field of up & coming Democrats and one independent. 2016 primary has done long term damage to future leaders by cutting them off from name recognition & campaign experience.

Some things Biden did over the course of his long political career: He supported mass incarceration. He supported measures that encouraged multinational corporations to take jobs out of predominantly black communities. He opposed busing that was necessary to desegregate...1/2

Except that does work for a man. Even when unqualified. The republican machine is what won the election. they put lies out about Hilary that everyone bought, including Sanders’ supporters.
