The exploitation of Central America goes further back than the 1980s. My father was born in Honduras, His family worked for United Fruit Co. which operated like a neocolonial power in Honduras, Guatemala, & Costa Rica around the turn of the 19th century & the early 20th century.

I have known about this for a long time. Anyone with the drive to investigate these issues will have come to these same conclusions. There cannot be resolution or justice without facts and context guiding future action. Demonizing victims is not justice!...

The US actions have done the same thing to Europe. Flooding them with refugees caused by our actions. And the US never takes responsibility, ever.
