Free speech laws protect you from the government, but not from citizens. Opinions are not a protected class. Any unpopular thought can cost a career when publicly expressed including those antithetical to yours. Do you also reject boycotts of Israeli products?

Orly? Find me one example of someone in the US being fired for having leftist views? On the other hand, if you have views that are even vaguely conservative, you can be fired instantaneously (see James Damore, Weinstein, etc.). This is a problem of the left and you know it.
