Your fearlessness is admirable.

Can we get the entire clip? Not that I don’t believe, but I’m one who always likes multiple sources and entire clips for full contexts.

Indeed. Especially when the most brutal and corrupt police union in America despises him. There has to be a reason for that, and what scares them most is reform in a positive, pro-community direction. I think he's talking about careers, not lives. I'm happy to be wrong though.

I was a little confused by the clip since I have heard that the NYPD are some of the most ruthless & bias as well. It sounded to me as if he was saying the old ways won’t continue to go unchecked. But, I also could be wrong. I’d like to do more research.

Also not to say that this is ok but I’ve heard people jokingly say “I’m going to kill them for/because...” as a figure of speech.

Whatever the 123 precinct is on Staten Island, mostly old white people. They put him there to finish out his career. In 2 years this jo will retire.

My dad is a former NYPD detective. I know the good and the bad of the department. If you don't know why he's getting a promotion that you really don't understand the culture there at all.
