Her best argument at this point is "I find lynching and voter suppression funny and unserious." Which is reason enough to vote against her. Mississippi needs serious leaders, not awful comedians.
It's amazing to me that when Mississippi Senator Cindy Hyde-Smith (@cindyhydesmith) tells jokes, her first inclination is for them to be about lynching and voter suppression.
Two times this month she has brushed off her blatant bigotry by saying she was only kidding.

Exactly. These are not jokes. They are her real thoughts AND real behaviors. If she says these things in public, imagine what she says (and does and plans to do) in private. If this doesn't motivate people to get out and vote, nothing will.
