I loathe anti-Semitism and actually fight against it. Have put my family’s life on the line tracking down Neo-Nazis and bringing them to justice. Simulataneously, I believe the human rights violations from Israel are absolutely atrocious. These things can co-exist.
The rush to paint good men and women who speak out on the human rights violations of Israel as anti-Semitic is disturbing. No nation is beyond legitimate criticism. Snipers there have killed unarmed kids and nurses this year. That’s wrong. Bottom line. And we must say so.
I am a student of the Civil Rights Movement. Mentored by its leaders. I support boycotts as a peaceful form of non-violent resistance. When I say I support boycotts of Israel because of their human rights violations, I do so as a man peace. I say the same for Saudi Arabia.
I believe the same, but I think the issue for me is the sole focus of people who support BDS on Israel? Where's BDS for Turkey, Egypt, Pakistan, Baharain to name a few which all have comparable human rights violations and all get $$$ from the US business & government.

While I agree that criticism of Israeli policies is not anti-Semitic, there is a one-sidedness to blame regarding the plight of the Palestinians that singles out Israel and disregards any of the ills of Palestinian leadership that perpetuate Palestinian victimhood.
Criticizing mistakes made in self defense while not criticizing the people that start the violence and put their own at risk is just as disturbing. Defending people that call for the destruction of another is even more disturbing .
It takes courage to speak out against our foes, perhaps more to stand up to our friends when it must be done.
Well every man who criticizes Nancy Pelosi or thinks Dems need someone else for Speaker is being labeled a misogynist, so it must be a twitter thing to think the worst of people's intention. Anybody who dissents from the status quo is labeled a villain.
They probably figure what can the US say? Police officers do the same here and folks' jobs get threatened by the President for protesting against it.
