Amen to that. Though Jack Kirby and Steve Ditko should be included as well.
But you have to include Ditko and Kirby because without them there were none of those characters. These characters we love are part of a collaboration and giving one man all the credit is a great injusticeode creative minds
Stan Lee gave me a black hero when there weren't any black characters in comics. And he was a prince! That helped my self-esteem tremendously when I was a little boy. And he also channeled the Civil Rights struggle with the X-Men. He and Jack Kirby were @Marvel greatest heroes.

I remember my brother and I ditching school to head to a comic book store on Flatbush Avenue (I believe it's still there) to get copies signed by Stan Lee. We still have those books. Had them put in a laminated case and stored in a box. R.I.P. Amazing Mr. Lee.
