I knew it was to soon for Gillum to concede- I was kinda mad when he did since it was so closepic.twitter.com/b5BRrmmE0g

I fear maybe we have not had free and fair elections for some time, but nobody knew or at least nobody did anything until these younger candidates came onboard and fought. Have Republicans already destroyed free and fair elections in America?pic.twitter.com/eyGwzaOxvH
Excellent news, and I wish Beto would have done the same!
Beto needs a recount!
This honestly makes you wonder how many close races failed to capture all the votes. People assume all precincts have reported in and the numbers are what they are. Insisting that every vote counts has shown not only missing votes but voting irregularities. It’s chilling.
I know. Beto lost by 220K and it really makes me wonder, especially with so many issues reported with machines.
Floridian who voted for Gillum here!! I hope we can bring it home after all!!

The @gop may have underestimated the number of votes to suppress.
A concession carries no legal weight. It is merely a tradition.
I live in http://Florida.How the Hell does Amend 1 fail and 4 pass, and the big Dems lose? Homestead exemption increase fail, and Felons can vote... Those are pure Democrat outcomes!!! Hopefully it goes to hand recount, because it doesn’t make sense!
Folks would likely benefit from learning about the election process before jumping to conclusions. I just worked the polls for my county (not in FL). I'm no expert but I have a clear understanding of the basics. Each county sets its own procedure but essentially, on election day
2/ votes are cast at the vote center. Quite a few are deemed "provisional". If you moved to a new address in the same town (and are still registered at your old address), you would have to cast a provisional ballot but, as you would imagine, your vote is still legit. It gets
3/ reviewed by county election officials and counted along with other ballots cast. The county sets the guidelines but the poll workers interpret them and decide if a vote should be cast as provisional. In my county, we have two levels of provisional ballots.
4/ One is essentially likely to be counted and the other requires additional scrutiny. Verification takes time but does not indicate anything nefarious. "Lost" ballots and "found" votes stir people up but those are not election officials' terms.
