@shaunking I’m a Florida resident (Miami) wondering what happened with the #FLGov recount. Just got home from work and need to know if we got one #GillumForGovernor

It’s 2:45am EST. Gillum is 0.02% away from triggering an automatic recount.pic.twitter.com/D97TVaZAdP

That would totally make my day if Gillum actually ended up winning
-
Agreed. It would make my next 4 years.

This factoid, coupled with the number of White woman that voted for Cruz, DeSantis and Kemp speaks volumes about what a segment of this countries population is up against and have been since being kidnapped and brought to North America. This is a part of that legacy. Listen...

I was so happy this passed but still find it curious the Koch Bros. were supportive of this amendment passing. Maybe a broken clock is right twice a day but still...I don't trust them.
-
Has to be something in it for them...Not sure what yet

A majority of Floridians vote to restore rights to felons but some of them couldn’t bring themselves to also vote for a black man to be governor. WTF Florida? (I’m a Floridian, I voted for rights and
@AndrewGillum) -
Maybe they didn’t vote for him because he has short hair. That’s as reasonable as voting for him because he’s black. Leave race out of it and he still leans to the socialist side of things. Maybe that’s why many didn’t vote for him. Or maybe it’s the short hair.
-
I’m going to go with the black thing. Have you been to my state for any length of time?
-
I’m simply pointing out the lunacy involved with voting for someone because of a physical attribute. But that’s less crazy than thinking felons should vote. Maybe some of them have been “rehabilitated”. I’d rather not risk it. Orange, black, white, green. Race doesn’t matter.
-
Folks literally hung people by their necks based on the physical attribute of their skin color. By contrast, voting seems a lot more benign

Of course and they’re republicans and doing it out of fear of these folks turning Florida blue. They don’t care the impact to someone’s life with no rights, they only care about winning.

I worked for elections in Florida in 2016. We would get thousands of registrations from felons that we had to discard. They would call begging us to accept their applications. It was very frustrating. This passing is great

I just hope it isn't treated by the governor the way the amendment for medical marijuana was. GOP governors in FL obstuct the will of the people.

I know. Right? Before you get too giddy with the victories remember there are way too many whacks still out there.
