Isn’t something weird here ? Only 18% of the African American vote went to Gillum - that just doesn’t make sense!

-
It was the other way around. 18% voted against him but what makes it weird was that most polls had him winning 93% of the African American vote so its a little fishy.
-
This is less fishy than outright stolen. Everybody knows how much fraud the Republicans get up to, but few seem to understand it means many elections are coups.
-
Especially since amendments like restoring felon voting rights and banning offshore drilling passed with huge margins ... you're telling me there are environmentalists who voted for DeSantis? Or that Republicans care about restoring voting rights?

That whole count should be audited. They should look at the adjudication of rejected ballots.
-
Provisional ballots (mostly of wrongly purged likely Democratic voters) are usually canned. They must be checked and counted by law. In Georgia
@staceyabrams will get the job if they're counted, for instance. -
Excellent point.

Gillum needs to come back out & say a few words. Assure Floridians who did vote for him that it seems this race isn't over after all.
-
The smart thing on this is "I cannot and will not speculate on this until the final numbers are in"
-
That's fine. His supporters would love to hear from him. I would love to hear from him.
-
I understand that, I really do. But by staying quiet, he won't trigger the outcry from the GOP "Bad looser, trying to steal the election by influencing the count.... Etc."

Why did he concede so quickly?
-
Conservative Florida would have probably eaten him alive in the media for holding out. But the speech isn't binding anyway lol

Wait... Miami-Dade county is incomplete?
-
That's right
-
Doesn't that usually lean Democrat?
-
Sure does

A concession is a political speech. It is not a legal statement.
-
This. It’s like a toast at a wedding. A nice gesture but doesn’t have any legal ramifications.
