And Nancy Pelosi just gave one of the most uninspiring speeches I think I’ve ever heard. New blood won tonight and new blood should lead.

Has Stacy Abrams "lost" as governor thanks to kemp's cheating?
-
She’s loosing by like 200,000+ unfortunately
-
She, Beto and Andrew have still made history!
-
She hasn’t conceded yet she’s at 46% and he’s at 52% if for some reason he gets under 50% it goes to a runoff
-
We can always stay a little hopeful!
-
Hey we won the house and it’s more diverse than ever.... it’s a slow process but we’ll get there in 2020 I have hope. Love will win and we will make it happen

So I'm confused. How do Dems win the House but lose the Senate? Do people lose their minds when voting for Senate seats? How come it flips? Asking for some Canadians...pic.twitter.com/bQtchQkpka
-
First because there weren’t that many seats up for election in the senate whereas all the seats in the House were up. Second because of the states those senate seats were in. The seats in Congress are districts within states. Lastly no one really thought the dems would win senate
-
Thanks for explaining bud. So a House representative represents the whole state whereas a Senator only represents a specific district within the state?
-
Other way around. Congressmen represent districts and senators represent states. Congressmen (& women) have 2 year terms. Senators have 6 year terms.
-
You have explained this more simply than 'pros' on TV. Thanks. Screenshotting it for posterity!pic.twitter.com/LuXSCVJmZi

I am not surprised she lost. Missouri is a Red state. Mostly White rural Americans that vote Republican.
-
We have two large cities and a smaller one. It's not all hillbillies and farmers, but it is very red. Plus the Orange Shitgibbon held not one but two rallies here in the last month. But looks like medical weed will pass, so maybe they'll mellow out.

-
I grew up in St Louis. So, I know Missouri very well.
