Correct, and Colorado just passed an Amendment to our State Constitution removing the words “except in punishment for a crime”. No more forced unpaid labor for prisoners in our state.

Congrats on this issue. I am a centrist, and I just think this is fair and American. A person pays their debt and then should be a full Citizen. Congrats and mazel. I do not always agree with you, but I am always a big fan of your work.
