My friend was turned back at Newark because they said they already sent him a mail ballot. He never requested for that. Now they sent him away without voting.

Tell your friend to go back, get in line, and demand a provisional ballot. He can still vote.
-
Just told him. Thank you!

I live in Atlanta and I did not experience any problems -- in fact, my polling place was amazing. But thanks for posting this just in case there are problems at the GA polls (and with Kemp as Sec of State I'm sure there will be multiple issues)
-
I live in metro ATL too. I'll go out on a limb and guess you also live in a mostly Red district?
-
Nope I live in a blue island.
-
I love my blue island downtown! I’m also ready for it to extend the length of this state. It’s about time we make some major inroads into North and South Georgia in the coming years!

-
Haha, lucky you, I'm swimming in a sea of red kool-aid up here.

Does anyone have any information about sending snacks and water to people waiting in line? I’d love to help somehow but am 3k miles away....

Yet another form of voter suppression. There is no limit to their deviousness. Bless all of these people standing in line to vote.

Australia too. Best system possible imo!
-
Germany dito!!

-
Idaho (USA) still does

-
Idaho, Arkansas and Missouri all did paper. I’ve never used a machine in a US election.
