Problem is in NYS they would have had to register 6 months ago. This whole process is bullshit. I voted already but as I’m standing in line I can’t help but thing of the people who aren’t able to vote.

There are many states who have same-day registration. They should have that in all of the country. Plus, if today was a holiday, people would have time to do both .
