Those aren’t voting machines; they’re pollbooks used to sign voters in at the polls. Voting machines are used to cast ballots; this is election equipment.

2/3 of the ballot boxes in my district (in East Harlem NYC) stopped working. But that isn’t going to stop us from voting. We are waiting in line, we are making our voices heard!

TRUE. I live in WA state. We do mail-in! Postage paid! But you'll have to vote your state blue to do it, too.

WA is one of the best progressive states when it comes to voting.

CA is pretty good too: in-person paper ballots, early voting, vote-by-mail, and ballot drop-off. It’s insanely easy to vote.

This too! Everywhere I’ve lived in CA, the polling place has been walking distance, and I’ve never had to wait in line.

Growing up in California, my parents used to vote at a neighbor’s house around the corner from us that volunteered as a polling place. Since i moved to my house 11 years ago, I vote at the elementary school (where my kids now attend) two blocks away. My neighbors staff it.
