If I didn't know better, all this would appear that those in power don't WANT (certain) people to vote. In Ontario, Canada, I've never waited for more than 5 minutes to vote in any (municipal, provincial, federal) election. Registration is automatic and easy to do on voting day.

Finland: everyone's registered to vote automatically when they turn 18. We have paper ballots. The process of me getting a ballot and writing and submitting it? 1 minute. On my way home from work at a supermarket. Only had to show an ID (mailed to my home for free, automatically)

Florida threw away 12,635 mail in votes in Broward county because people did not sign the envelope or the signature did not resemble what was on file. Read that it effected the elderly and black/latino precincts. So upsetting!

This was for 2018 midterm election by the way. you can go on your supervisor of elections website in Fla to verify your mail in ballot was received
