That makes me proud. (Dartmouth grad.) It's not the same risk, though - a student at a fairly liberal school would be mostly applauded, whereas a cheerleader in the NFL risks her life.
Yeah, there is significantly more risk for an NFL cheerleader. But I was proud of the Dartmouth cheerleader nonetheless.
Absolutely! That is someone I would proudly help find a job in my company. Or buy a drink, if she's over 21.
Can someone explain what the national anthem has to do with a game between two teams of the same country? What's the link between national league football and patriotism?
Damn. She had good intentions, but she’s going to get fired so quick! Probably lost her job during the game!!
A risk I am sure she knew would happen but that’s not a full time job so she’ll be ok. And even if she’s let go, she gone get known.
They can’t fire her because they don’t get paid.
Bless this brave cheerleader!
Any details on who she is? Cheerleaders are notoriously fired for even the smallest offense – I won’t be surprised if she’s already been fired. It’d be good to follow up, and see what happens to her
Good for her! It shows some of us still have the courage to do what's right. The protests shouldn't stop until the Divide and conquer campaign stops. #voteblue
More courage than the gutless players. #NoKaepernickNoNFL #ImWithReid #ImWithKap #TakeAKnee #NaziFootballLeague
NFL Perhaps, but it has happened before!pic.twitter.com/Y1ya5eWkSR
Nah, the gold rush cheerleader was kneeling last season too
