Agreed. Bad for the movement, which I support. He’d do the same thing Malcolm Jenkins did if offered $100M smh

Shaun, as much as I agree with you, GM's, Coaches, players and reporters don't want every press conference or interview to surround CK. They have a game to play and it's time to move on from him ever playing in the NFL again.
-
This is EXACTLY the part that no anti or pro Kaep ppl discuss like.......ever Should he have a job? Yes Would it be a circus of epic proportions? Yes Is Kaep talented enough to be worth it? No

I love Kaep and been a 49er fan since the 80’s. BUT you are wrong. The 49ers backed Kaep during his protest and even matched his donations when he was still with the team. Kaep left the 49ers, he chose to leave. The 49ers choose to move on.
-
not to mention Mullens has been on the team since May of last year. they didn’t *just* sign him.

To be fair, Mullens has been on the 49ers' practice squad for the past 2 years. He knows all the calls and has a shorter learning curve than Kaepernick would at this point, Is that worth the difference in experience? Maybe, maybe not.

Can we support Kaepernick without dissing this kid? And btw, he is playing his heart out! Not everything should be politicized...

Mullens is a cheap option for a team not trying to win. 49ers don't want to waste $ on a QB when they have their starter for the future. Kaep would be MORE expensive. The organization already parted ways with Kaep -- very unlikely they'd bring him back. Try to think objectively.
-
That tweet about Mullens aged well - basically a perfect QB rating and a blowout win!
-
If Shaun King would just tweet: "Kaepernick is good enough to be in the NFL" -- no argument here. But he constantly ignores the economics of these decisions. Dollars to doughnuts it'll be "Carr makes $125M and Kaep isn't in the NFL! Gross!"
