Spent the past few hours studying the social media of Robert Bowers - the Pittsburgh shooter. Guess what he believed & was actively angry about? Trump's lie that dangerous men from the Middle East were marching in as a part of the caravan in Mexico & that Jews were funding it.
I kid you not, THIS WEEK, Robert Bowers was repeating the very lies spread by Trump & conservatives that "Muslim terrorists" were sneaking into the US in the Mexican caravan. This morning he posted that he believed Jews were paying for it. Then he went to kill them.
This is what democracy in decline looks like...

I'm not in any way defending 45's hateful rhetoric and cult followers, but Bower's feed also said he hated the current president and would never touch a MAGA hat. You know that'll be used to show that we jumped to conclusions and that he wasn't a follower.
The cult people like the bomber need to be put in the criminal category. These people don't represent good people like me and almost every other sane Republican.
I agree, and the Boston bombers don't represent all Muslims and one black criminal doesn't represent all black people. It works both ways. I'm not saying that's what you mean, at all. There are, however, many who do, but refuse to acknowledge white terrorism.
I play hockey with Muslim twins boy and girl and a African American girl. I know they aren't all bad. Far from it. The select few makes everyone look bad. Which is very unfortunate.

Thank you Shaun King for always seeking the truth and injustice in our world today! I was appalled that Trump claimed if the church had armed guards it would have been a different result. Y should we have armed guards at churches, schools, etc.
Because crazy people are going to do things like this. We need police everywhere where people gather.
If we need security at churches or places of worship in general. Americans better run. This a evil statement. If they had security it would be different. WTF. Why don’t you have security guards at your front door. Do your church have security??

No we don't. There's nothing that has come out of his mouth about hurting anyone.
He has advocated for violence on video several times. just last week he commended the public official that body slammed a reporter for asking a question. The fact that you don’t see that as a problem is itself a problem.
Laws and determination gave ppl of color equal rights. That didn’t change ppls mindset of hate. If you hate ppl due to color the laws won’t change that. Racism or hate because of color or religion is sad. Laws only forced ppl to fake it.
