No, the military don't use AR15s. For 50 years, they've been using lightly modified versions like the M16 and M4. Stop splitting hairs, MR-15s are military grade rifles.

Here's the issue. The fact that we are forced to retreat to empathy rather than look at an actual solution is the problem. Political agendas force everyone else to react on the basis of the event, and not the rights and greater good of society. It should never be reactionary.
