I've said this before, but it's particularly relevant today. The United States is an unstable, fragile nation - and is much closer to a full fledged meltdown than most of us want to admit. We're in a very bad place.

...and it’s good to believe that,… We just have to stop with the whole “America always comes through“ bullshit. That doesn’t just happen. We have work at justice and wholeness and peace. Right now, that work is very, very hard.
-
You are aware I do that work right?
-

When everyone does something no one person has to do EVERYTHING! America needs to stop being complacent. Democracy isn’t s spectator sport!

First step, sincerely is demolishing artificial unrepresentative wasteful and harmful two party system in order to become more reflective, less toxic, more representative and democratic: mulitalteral party system. See
@RBReich And break the stranglehold of nra

To believe that there ought to be two sides if an aisle is naive and dangerous and will not change things. America isn't two sides. America did fight a costly civil war BECAUSE of two sides: one side for slavery and oppression. Mulitalteral representation is
on a spectrum.> -
The system is broken when you hear within your social circle, " oh the reason so n so voted for trump.."(wait what??)college graduate adults not exercising critical thinking or revealing their racism & bigotry shows how broken political IQ is and it serves corrupt
interests.
