My dad was a cop in a major city. I asked him what he thought about police shootings. He said three things: 1) It's always happened. We just hear about it more now because of cell phones, social media, etc.

2) A smart cop acts as if everything they do is being filmed for posterity. Cameras keep honest cops honest.
