A taser should never be engaged repeatedly. I was tased while in the Air Force during training & unholy god is it terrifying. And that’s in the most controlled of environments. U feel the electricity go through your body in waves from foot to head for what seems like eternity.
So true. The police have always categorized tasers in the same place as mace or teargas. Unpleasant deterrents, but it is actually a lethal weapon

Please come up with a way to do this. How does a police officer deal with a belligerent suspect? Are they supposed to allow themselves to be attacked? There is no answer that would appear to work for you. Could you at least acknowledge how difficult a police officers job is?

Few yrs ago, my city's PD tased a mentally ill guy, just bc he was hanging around a business. They killed another guy after 2 girls "thought" he looked suspicious. They found the kid inside a store buying a pop, no longer in vicinity of girls but tased/killed him anyway.
Tasers are "unpredictably lethal force," which is unacceptable from both civil rights and tactical perspectives.

Having been hit with a taser i feel they could easily be lethal weapons. But the police need to do all they can to protect themselves. If you taser someone and they die, you will be charged. Tazers are non lethal voltage is not what kills someone amps are. Tazers are non lethal a non-lethal is a "weapon" that is not designed to be lethal and kill HOWEVER in certain circumstances they can cause death
The police must be defunded and disarmed. The institution is inherently violent. Regulation and restraints will do little to improve our public safety. They are a cartel.
