Elephants live in close-knit families. They cherish their young. They’re intelligent. They feel fear, pain, grief. Anyone who could shoot them is only a hop, skip, and a jump away from shooting a human. They want to kill so bad. They hunt animals bec there are no consequences

The pain of loosing a family member! I wish I could make their lives hell by hackling them when ever I saw them.

If I could find an effective way to stop them I would

It’s a tragedy and counterintuitive...but as far I understand, legal poaching (trophy hunting is legal in certain parts of Africa) ends up supporting areas that have no net worth or commerce...money generated from trophy kills is rumored to protect the animals from poachers
-
This has been debunked loads of times. The money that gets 'made' goes to corrupt leaders, the local population don't see it at all. Nonsense
-
Do you have a citation for that? I'm not sure where to look for a reputable source on the subject and would love to send an article to people who defend trophy hunting.
-
Google Missing The Mark house report, a large study done on this subject which states that in theory it could generate revenue if done properly but that isn't the case
-
There is still only a finite number of elephants and other large animals left. That means there should be ZERO hunting. There is no good excuse for it!
-
I 100% agree

My stomach has actual knots in it from watching them harm this beautiful animal. I hope fate takes out every person who participated in the same way. This was terrible to see
-
Maybe I watch too many movies but I feel like if they paid more money they would probably be allowed to hunt African people as well.
-
Omg. What a scary thought. It wouldn’t surprise me even slightly if there was such a place for the very wealthy. My stomach turns just thinking about it.

What honor is there in shooting elephants? Good lord.

What's the difference in a group of lions hunting compared to a group of men
-
You honestly trying to draw a correlation between wild animals who hunt for food and natural dominance to a group of men with bullets shooting innocent animals. Were these men trying to survive off of elephant meat?
