Correction: The bar is low (for white men) in most states. There are plenty of qualified black applicants (passing written and physical test) who are constantly not hired! Some reason being psych test others receiving no reasoning at all. There should be investigation into this!

1. Wouldn't matter, his new employer knew and didn't care 2. See #1. Those in power don't care to change their status

So why do you care? Isn’t the largest percentage of white-cop deaths caused by black males?

Forgive my ignorance, do you not have a US equivalent of our vetting system for employers? We check the applicant for criminal records and disclose them to potential employers. For jobs with children, vulnerable adults and police etc we can actually bar people from those roles.

Unfortunately this is a racial issue not a policy issue. All it takes is 1 White Chief/Sheriff/Constable 2 give a problem white cop who had previous issues else where another chance. His name's well known in OH but like I said, just 1 It's a small town but he's legally armed.

Ah ok so it's not blind ignorance on the recruiter's part, they've hired him with full knowledge of his previous actions? Well, like I said, over here we can bar people from working in certain roles based on their past. Takes the decision out of corrupt recruiter's hands.

Wish it was that way here except it would be bypassed by cronyism, nepotism & racism and used primarily against others without validity.. The racial makeup of the workforce here doesn't = population %s & the Police force is even less diverse than the gen. pop & workforce.

On this issue I 100% agree with you. Cops get fired and rehired and justice is never served.http://theuncensoredtruth.net/2018/08/10/undermining-the-law-the-blue-line-of-silence/ …

We must 1) replace policing as an institution with community efforts to police themselves 2) seize the means of production

Perhaps one day, more sooner than later, he will attempt to serve a warrant on an angry, white male who is not considered a threat and... how 'bout those Mets?
