the 2nd degree verdict will be over turned on appeal he'll spend decades collecting his pension....this was a political decision, the state will wait till the matter is forgotten then he'll be forgotten in the witness protection program in the US
#killingBlksDontMatter -
I doubt it. They will use him for an example.
-
You can doubt it all you want but er will have to wait until the appeal process is said and done to know for sure....everything that happens in these united states is a political decision this is no different, Blk people better watch their collective backs

I'll wait until he's actually SENTENCED. There is no guarantee he'll 'spend decades in prison'.
-
On the other hand, he may not last very long in prison. I suspect the other inmates will, uh, not take kindly to him.
-
And I think Cook County jail is on lockdown cause of him. They need to have the same energy as anyone else locked up with same charges. Put him in general population. He’s not Van Dyke anymore he’s inmate#146786678.

Finally Laquan McDonald and his grieving family have received justice. I hope this becomes a trend because this will discourage others from doing the same.

I’m of the belief
@realDonaldTrump will make this an issue and pardon him only to gin up his base, appease the#racists and#bigots and further divide the nation stoking racial tension; once again proving he and@GOP don’t care about law and order#corruptgop#Justice4Laquan -
Trump can’t pardon him. He was convicted by the state.
-
I stand corrected
-
His conviction can get throw out on appeal and there is a possible he could get probation so let’s hold off on celebrating until his sentencing.
