When I heard the shooter was in custody I knew he was white.
I hate using the race card... and I only do so on rare occasions!! But I knew it as well!!!

There’s a lot of talk about the fact that there were kids in the house. Philando Castile had a child in his CAR when he was shot by cops.
He was using multiple small children as human shields. The police acted courageously and my community lost a brave police officer in Terrance Carraway.

When we heard about this shooting last night and they said they captured the shooter I told my husband that he must be white because had he been black he would be dead. It's sad that things are so messed up that this would even cross my mind : (
This is so irritating. What? No SWAT? No massive amount of gunfire through walls, doors, & windows to take him out? They showed restraint in the face of several officers down? Yet unarmed Black men and boys are killed for less

"They have been trained" - it's obvious that SOME have been trained, but there are what, 750k-1.25M police officers in the U.S.? I expect most of them really do not have the training, or any intention to follow their training.
