Ironic that so-called Christians would demonize people they don’t agree with. This is the paradox of American Christianity, an extraordinarily inclusive creed led by extraordinarily intolerant people.

I should have written: led by “some” extraordinarily intolerant people. Not all are guilty of this but a disappointing number nonetheless.

These aren’t followers of Christ’s teachings. These power hungry folks hiding behind the tax free status of religion. The religion is the means to forward their agenda.

Similarly, "free market" dogma is simply white male supremacy with an economic patina.

PItch the "American Dream," in the racist pile as well. The American Dream story, of bootstraps, and hard work is horse shit, the elite stay elite, and concisously work to keep it a very exclusive club. A club that drives eltitist policy through lobbying and campaign. finance

Funny how only we white people complain about the divisions in our society. As if they just "happened" to us.

It's true what you are saying. I recently watched "Reversing Roe" on Netflix, they mention how the Evangelical Americans is really a reglious front for their racist ideology, promote white supremacy and uses the nonprofit status to get tax benefits. Very eye opening.

How any person of color can trust Christianity is beyond me. Christian missionaries took everything from every person of color, made them give up their culture, their own religion, their names, their clothing in exchange for food to make them be christian.

I attended Liberty Univ Jerry Falwell Sr school...mind you I went on a sports scholarship...BUT STILL...I have not entered the doors of a church since that experience...there were many great people, but the system itself was corrupt - I have my faith but will never be RELIGIOUS

In Matthew 7:13-23 speaks of this very thing. False prophets will definitely have you on that broad path through that very wide gate. If you’re truly in the Word and following Christ, you’ll know who’s who. “Thus by their fruit you will recognize them.” Matt 7:20
