Suspended??!! They weren’t arrested?!!!
2 pre-school teachers in Atlanta were suspended, then resigned, after it was found that they ZIP-TIED the hands of two little Black girls behind their backs. The girls are 4 years old. It sounds like the parents called the school rather than the police. & while schools will call in suspected child abuse against parents in a heartbeat, they won't do it against themselves out of a sense of self-preservation.

That’s just not good enough. They should be arrested. If you don’t know how unbelievably wrong that is, then you should have no guidance over children, and certainly shouldn’t have normal freedoms.

We can’t address the pipeline if we don’t get serious abt closing it’s earliest entry point. Expulsion rates are HIGHER in preschool than in K12. The aggression sometimes comes in words, sometimes in egregious actions. & our Black & Brown babies carry the brunt of the injustice.

This is so true. They suspend TWO YEAR OLDS in some programs for biting... as if that behavior isn't totally developmentally appropriate. Children are not responsible for what they learn or who they become, we are.
