My dear brother, Jason King, has just passed away. Just 6 weeks ago he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. We thought we had 6 months. He was a kind, compassionate, reliable bear of a man. Loved God & family. Please pray for our mother, his wife, and his sweet young babies.

Shaun, this may not mean much to you, but I am currently in a holy place at the shrine of one of our saints, Imam Hussain, in Iraq, and will be praying for your brother.

What a beautiful gesture

A high school friend of mine in Cleveland Ohio had treatment at the Cleveland Clinic and university hospitals for pancreatic cancer during which time he had three heart attacks 10 years later he’s still around

Dear Shaun, I’m so sorry for you and your family. I lost my father to pancreatic cancer in March of 2015. It’s the absolute worst. Make the most of any time you get- I could only rationalize it as better than randomly losing him to a heart attack and not being able to say goodbye
-
Sorry for your loss Sarah. As someone who did lose a parent to a heart-attack without being able to say goodbye, it make perfect sense. Sending love to you too.

-
Yes, my dad died suddenly and far away, and we would have loved to have had time to say goodbye, however agonizing it might have been.
-
I can relate to your post so deeply
-
Very sorry. x

I also have cancer and will soon be there. Know this please. My greatest joy has been my family and my greatest concern is that they move on with their lives and turn their tears into good memories. It will happen. God bless you all.

Blessing to you Steve and your family.
