It was a dude judge. I don't think the problem is feminism.

The problem is the double standards that come with feminism. If this was a man there would be an outcry from feminist, but since it's a woman doing it to a boy. Basically nothing

I don't think that is because of feminism. For one, I'm a feminist and a teacher, and I think her sentence was way too lenient. I feel like it's about how outdated views on men and women portray women as vulnerable and needing protection and men being after sex. My opinion.

That's the same way feminist portray us. They always make the woman the victim and the man the villain

Ah, i see what you’re saying. Typically women are the victims, though-at least when it comes to sexual violence/harrassment, domestic partner abuse/violence. We arent making that up.

This reprehensible. Men need to be jailed for rape and sexual assault. Although women are less than one percent of perpetrators, they deserve the same fate-hard core jail. This young man is damaged for life and she keeps her teaching certification! This judge should be removed!!

Women of #METOO should vehemently support this young person. He is no different than any of us!!

I know I do. This woman is just as much of a threat had she been a man and the victim a 14yo girl. When the hell is this country going to start treating victims of sexual assault and perps the same no matter who is male or female? Lock her the hell up.

Nintey-eight percent plus of perpetrators have been men against women and men of all ages. However, a female pedophile deserves no special treatment. Sexual predators are just that, regardless of gender.#METOO

When the sexual assault is done to males, it’s not seen as harmful. It sadly even has a positive spin on it. I know guys who were sexually assaulted, even as young as 5 years old, who view it as a “good” thing. Society does a terrible job at protecting males from assault

I think it is more about her being a woman and the victim a male; part of the toxic mentality regarding the sexes is assuming males always want sex: the judge probably just thought "lucky kid...she's hot. He must have loved it." It's a huge disservice to male rape/assault victims

To be clear he was 14, so it already shouldn't be in the equation as he cannot give consent, but I get your point. I don't know of cases of non-white teachers assaulting students, so it is hard to know for sure, but you could very well be right...unfortunately....
