I think most white people have a line that can be crossed in which they'll no longer enjoy the art of a person if they do A, B, or C. It just seems that owning & abusing & breeding & trading & selling Africans - then making their life a living hell for a living doesn't cross it

It was a good read in the sense that I didn’t realize how abhorrent a lot of the ideology Keys lived by were. But I feel like we have to separate that from the National Anthem. I just feel like you start treading into bad territory when you start protesting the anthem itself.
