It is just as plausible that she wanted to kill him. Not her floor, not her door, not her rug, her key does not work. Who bangs on their own door when their key does not work? She knew it was not her home.

I agree, my 87 year old dad with pre dementia does not get that confused and disoriented. Very very scary she carried a gun and wore a Badge!

Here's my issue, besides the obvious crime. This is supposed to be a trained professional to protect and serve her community. What would of happened if a child surprised her anywhere? Would she of shot them? How many other officers on that force not qualified to serve?

There’s a lot more to this story as her version is ridiculously absurd - should have been charged with murder cause that’s what it is!!

That rug was the first thing I noticed in each picture. I was thinking if she don't have that rug, there's no way she confused his place with hers.

Shaun this is the first police shooting that I can think of where they were quick to charge an officer. I believe its because this case calls for murder and they are rushing this case before all the facts come out that would support murder.

She didn't have a key that worked in his door either, but that didn't stop her.

Where is that being reported?

Thanks. Wow - this is why I’ve seen videos of how the keys work there. They don’t put keys in the door. It’s an electronic keyfob. Article is poorly written or the account is poorly stated. I’d prefer an official statement at this point & the cowards are clearly avoiding it.

I have to assume the way the key fobs work there that it’s like a hotel. The door is always locked from outside once closed and they can’t be opened without the key. Now I wish someone in the building there would clarify that bc that blows a major hole in this story.
