One game and you are comparing him to Kaepernick...Garoppolo’s first loss as a starter and Kaepernick once had a 16.7 passer rating 47.5 passing yards and 4 ints against the Cardinals in 2015...I love Kaepernick but bad comparison...Try again

Maybe..I won’t argue that...But the comparison is off

Again I’m not arguing the fact that Kaepernick is better than some of these starters and backups now and should be in the league..But to compare Garoppolo’s career to Kaepernick’s career based on one game is ludicrous

Garoppolo spent years backing up Brady and has only 8 starts under his belt..Compare him to someone like Tyrod Taylor who has been in the league as long or Ryan Fitzpatrick who is still playing and is usually dismal but had the best game of his career today..Not Garoppolo
-
This is a bad comparison.
@shaunking hasn’t watched much 49er football. I support Kap In his cause, but making this one single game an example is taking away from the real issue. This seems petty. - 1 more reply

Today was the first game he’s lost as a starting qb. Kaepernick lost his job to Blaine Gabbert

-
Actually, Chip Kelly had just assumed the 49ers job as head coach from Jim Tomsula. He made Gabbert the starter because Kaepernick was rehabbing from injury. Look it up!
-
Actually, Kaepernick was injured and thus benched and put on IR. A result of the Baalke v Harbaugh feud, Kaepernick was collateral damage. Once Harbaugh left, Baalke gutted the team and set them up for failure. That's why Lynch is there now.https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/2015/11/21/49ers-quarterback-colin-kaepernick-goes-on-season-ending-ir/76174080/ …

He was put on IR a month after he got benched. I’m all for Kaepernick still being in the league but let’s not pretend or make excuses for the fact that he just wasn’t playing well.
-
Dude, a month? It was about two weeks, if you read both articles we posted. Besides, why do you bench him if he's
? He wasn't, the team around him sucked. If you don't believe me, then....http://www.montereyherald.com/article/ZZ/20151103/NEWS/151108761 … -
The team around him did suck but he was still benched.

I’m huge Kaep supporter and 49ers fan, this is a terrible example. Injuries to OLine, WR drops and great opposing defense contributed to bad day.
-
I agree. That’s why I told
@shaunking to stop. False equivalence -
Not to mention they were up against the #1 D. The game could have looked a lot worse.
-
When he tweets shit like this it really makes his other tweets about oppression meaningless. Oppression is alive and well but when you try to make it fit into every topic you water down the legit stuff.
