Agreed. Fighting the urge to go full doomsday prepper

Researching doomsday prep is now, apparently, appropriate.

We are a very sick nation right now.

-
Trump is but a symptom of the disease and not the disease itself. The country has been very sick for a long time. Trump is a symptom of what ails us. Stop focusing on Trump (symptom), & start focusing on eradicating the disease.
-
Completely agree. The media is focused on the wrong things and distracts voters with conspiracy theories.
-
Because it’s corporate media. Their advertisers are weapons manufacturers & drug companies. MSM won’t address real issues people care about because their advertisers won’t pay for ads on their network if they did. All we hear is Russia, Trump, Stormy Daniels propaganda.
-
Yup. The next generation of voters are not buying it which gives me hope.

Shaun it would shock you to realize the vast amount of people who just want to go to work, come home and watch Family Guy without being bothered. I’m glad you watch over us but as a child of the 60’s, the end is not near. Have a beer sometime. This too shall pass.

This made me feel comforted. Lol, I’m serious. So thank you for that. Cheers

this is why i say that the weimar republic is very relevant to the world's current events. we are in a very similar situation to the situation faced by the germans in the 1920's, before the nazi class traitors in the NSDAP took over and appointed hitler the chancellor of germany
-
fortunately, the fascists today don't have anyone in a similar position of influence as hitler or mussolini, but there are some predictable contendors for who they'd choose to be their leader. trump isn't hitler, but he does seem to have a lot more in common with wilhelm ii
-
having anyone like a kaiser at any time past world war ii is a cause for concern, as that is a precursor to fascism. and it shows, since german fascists were visibly nostalgic toward the reichstag (note the red white and black of imperial germany, nazis used the same theme)pic.twitter.com/CFA3sTsZtv
-
when fascists in america do choose a new leader and unify under him, AND THEY WILL, they'll choose either red white and blue for their colors, or yellow and black (as with gadsden), as fascists are nationalists, looking backward for their principles, rather than in front of thempic.twitter.com/xSdfnwzmLE
-
Fascism is already here & has been long before Trump.
-
yea, i know that. it's not like i really think it's the 1920's and we're in germany, but you can't deny that image of a kaiser is like a fetish for fascists
-
We practically are in the pre-New Deal, economy wise. Image is meaningless. It’s policies that BOTH parties enact which hurt people.
-
i know image is meaningless, but for fascists, it's everything. they want a nation with the image of fearing god, and loving the rich. and why do have to bring in "both parties" like they aren't meaningless, or like neither of them is at fault for all these damn fascists?
