I do. I know the people who vetted this op-ed personally.

Every report released from either side (left or right) has been exaggerated and twisted to work for their own agenda. Most likely, this is no exception.

He is asking that we don't get caught up in tribalism? As we speak they are trying to push Kavanaugh through without releasing all of his documents. Being reasonable has gotten us NO WHERE.....

1. This is going to inflame his base like crazy (bc they’ll see it as the “deep state” trying I obstruct Trump). 2. This person should identify themselves and resign in protest. They’re no patriot. 3. The substance of the day-to-day described here is absolutely terrifying.

And then the author says oops, no, we don’t want to deal with it, let’s absolve ourselves of responsibility by saying it’s the people who have the power to change things. The piece made me even more angry at the people who enable Trump, and more certain of their cowardice

Also this part: "Don’t get me wrong. There are bright spots that the near-ceaseless negative coverage of the administration fails to capture: effective deregulation, historic tax reform, a more robust military and more." WTF??

So basically those who have power refuse to remove Trump and are leading the nation themselves. This is awful.

Clearly written by a white person who does not have to deal with daily harassment and aggression that this administration has encouraged to worsen.

What this person is saying with this piece is that deregulation that harms the poor & middle class, “tax reform” that harms the poor & middle class, and increased military spending for wars that hurt the poor & middle class are more important than the Republic.
