Trump is counting on his voting "base" and his cowed Congressional lapdogs to keep him in power. Funny thing is had he not pursued the Presidency, he'd still be screwing porn stars and laundering Russian mob money and would be getting away with it for life. THAT was his mistake.

I don't think he actually wanted to win. His ego pushed him into that corner.
-
Yes. I think he thought the job would be to be the big boss and preside over parades and make speeches. No understanding or even curiosity about the actual job. Also I think his dirty little secret is that he's broke and his business is failing. His Presidency is all he has now.
-
Especially with the spotlight being on him, it forced all of his roaches to scatter.
-
It'll be interesting when the gravy train of his Presidency ends. No more foreign emoluments and Secret Service golf cart rental fees and taxpayer funded junkets for his kids. For sure he'll continue his rallies. Like you said, his ego demands them. His demise won't be pretty.

He appears to fear ghosts and doors not just about losing his base.

Ohhhhhh....where’d you find this excerpt?! Tell us more!!! I’d love to read up on this.
-
I kinda doubt that’s an actual excerpt due to the grammatical error
-
Oh, I did notice that but it still makes for some good reading regardless of if its’s factual, a smut read, or serious embellishments by author & WH Staff! Good catch though on the grammar. Few noticed it!

How you American chose a man like him for president, still amazes me ..
-
Something called the "electoral college" chose him. The majority of American voters did not vote for him.

Trump is a fake persona, like Rush Limbaugh. There is a real Trump and a real Limbaugh, but what we see are the fake personas. The "persona" is governed by ridgid rules. 1. Never step out of character. 2. Never admit fault. 3. Always pretend to be right. He's a cartoon character

Play the parady long enough and you become the parody.

Condemning White nationalists in a half-assed fashion was his worst mistake. But one guy kneeling at a game for two minutes is blasphemy.
